In these unprecedented and uncertain times it may be difficult to navigate the best practices on how to safely operate and reopen your establishment as restrictions are lifted during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to the suggested guidelines below, Tab King recommends following the General Industry Guidelines as well any guidelines provided by the CDC, or any federal, state or other regulatory requirements.

To Protect Your E-Tab Players

Electronic Pull Tab machines should be placed 6 feet apart and/or have Plexiglas dividers installed. 

Mark waiting areas with signs or posters to encourage players to follow social distancing guidelines.

Suggest players use cloth masks while playing or in the building.

Provide a sanitizing station nearby including hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes to encourage players to sanitize and disinfect after themselves.

Sanitize the following between use of each player:

  1. E-Tab Machine buttons
  2. Console
  3. Dividers
  4. Chairs
  5. Touch Screen (With approved touchscreen-safe wipes)

Encourage players to use console buttons for game play whenever possible.

Sanitize chairs after each use. 

Screen players for illness by checking for a temperature. Over 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit should not be permitted.

Asking the following questions:

  1. Have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19?
  2. Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat?
  3. Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?
